Academia Park London at London Tech Week 2024: Leading the Largest Country Pavilion

Academia Park London, in partnership with YTU Yildiz Teknopark and Base Hub, is thrilled to report on our groundbreaking participation in London Tech Week 2024, which took place from 10-14 June. This year, we proudly led the largest country pavilion at the event, showcasing the impressive depth and breadth of Turkish innovation on the global stage.

Key Highlights:

1. National Recognition: Our project was honoured with 'national participation funding' by the Turkish Ministry of Trade, underlining the significance of our presence at this international event.
2. Unprecedented Scale: We represented over 20 high-tech Turkish companies, alongside YTU Yildiz Teknopark and The Presidency's Invest in Türkiye FDI team, demonstrating the robust Turkish tech ecosystem.
3. Stage Presence: All our companies had the opportunity to present on the renamed Pitch Stage, providing unparalleled exposure to the global tech community.
4. Strategic B2B Meetings: We facilitated targeted business-to-business meetings for each participating company, resulting in new business opportunities and potential fundraising discussions.
5. International Recognition: As noted by YTÜ Yıldız Teknopark General Manager Orhan Tanışman, our participation showcased Turkish technology to a global audience, with over 50,000 attendees from more than 90 countries.
6. Expanding Global Footprint: The event highlighted YTÜ Teknopark's recent expansion to London, part of a broader strategy including offices in Dubai, Tashkent, and Silicon Valley, with plans for Amsterdam, Berlin, and Riyadh.

This year's London Tech Week was a resounding success for Academia Park London and our Turkish partners. Our prominent presence not only showcased the dynamism of Turkish innovation but also fostered valuable connections between Turkish tech companies and international players.
